Haldane Fisher Timber and Building Supplies wish to recruit a Sales Director. 

The Sales Director will have strategic responsibility to lead the sales development across the Haldane Fisher branch network in Northern Ireland and to liaise with associated company brands to ensure common sales opportunities are maximised.

Operating at a senior management level position, the Sales Director will form part of the Operational Board, where they will input strategically, implementing plans and driving performance and growth on a daily basis.

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Significant experience in a Sales Management role with a proven track record of previous sales experience in a similar industry, e.g. building merchants, construction, developers, related manufacturers/suppliers.
  • Demonstrable experience of business improvement across revenue and profit growth, market share growth, customer service improvement, client selection/rationalisation and development.
  • Demonstrable experience in creating and implementing a sales strategy with a record of winning and growing sales and maximising new opportunities.
  • Significant experience of key account management with complex and diverse customer base.
  • Experience of leading and developing high-performing sales teams within a multi-million pound business.
  • Experience of analysing sales performance using analytical tools, identifying opportunities and areas of improvement.
